Shimba Hills camping safari

• Day 1 : Malindi-Shimba Hills
Drive through Kidongo Gate and Shimba Hills National Park: a 320 square kilometers forest perfect for the observation of rare Ron Antelope and Sable Antelope.
Overnight: Botanic Garden Campsite.

• Day 2 : Game drive
Drive through Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary and observe the biggest mammal on Earth. After that you will be able to view Majimoto (Hot Springs) and scenic landscapes.
Overnight: Mwaluganje Community Campsite

• Day 3 : World war fortification
After breakfast, drive through Kasigao WW1 British Forts and bunkers. Then let’s go to Voi city for refreshments and city tour in the afternoon. Before the end of the day, drive to the Tsavo West National Park for the overnight.
Overnight at Mlilo Campsite.

• Day 4 : Historical sites
After breakfast, game drive on the way to Taveta. In the afternoon, visit historical sites before running to the Lake Jipe: the home stay of many Hippos.
Overnight: Lake Jipe Safari Lodge.

• Day 5 : Taveta tour
After breakfast, visit the historical richness of Grogan Castle and Canals. In the afternoon enjoy the Taveta City tour and its famous traditional markets.
Overnight: Chala Hotel.

• Day 6 : Game drive
After breakfast, visit lake Chala which is situated on a hill where you can also enjoy the panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon, game drive and visit the Mzima Springs.
Overnight: Mlilo Campsite.

• Day 7 : Return to Malindi
After breakfast, depart to Malindi through Tsavo Est National Parc for a last contact with the wilderness.
